Privacy policy

SamePage Math provides adults with tools for creating printable worksheets. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you. SamePage Math is the controller of the account information described here.

Worksheet content stays in your browser

Generated questions, questions you paste, worksheet previews, and PDF files are processed locally in your browser. We do not transmit or store that worksheet content on our servers.

Information we process

If you create an adult account, we store your email address, account and sign-in timestamps, subscription status, and the layout presets you choose to save. Presets contain settings such as paper size, spacing, and print size. They do not contain worksheet questions or learner profiles.

Stripe processes payment details in its hosted checkout and billing portal. We receive transaction and subscription records such as customer, subscription, payment status, and renewal identifiers. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Our server and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, requested route, request time, and error information. We do not use this information to create advertising profiles.

Why we use information

We use adult account and subscription information to authenticate you, provide Pro features, save requested presets, support billing, answer requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Where applicable, our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with law.

Service providers and disclosures

We disclose only the information needed for providers to perform services for us. These providers include Stripe for payments and billing management, an email provider for one-time sign-in links and service messages, and hosting or infrastructure providers that run the application and database. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use targeted advertising.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies keep an adult account signed in and protect account requests. We do not use advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, session replay, or cross-site tracking.

Retention

We keep account and preset information while your account is active. After deletion, we remove or anonymize it unless limited records must be retained for billing, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or other legal obligations. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and reliability.

Your privacy rights

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your account information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, appeal a denied request, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify that a request relates to your account.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no sale or advertising opt-out to exercise.

Children

The online service is directed to parents, homeschoolers, educators, and therapists. Children do not create accounts or use online learner profiles, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not include a child’s name or other personal information in a saved preset name. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect account information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If information is processed across national borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
